Harley started out in a Milwaukee shed in 1903, and never looked back. With iconic bikes throughout most of the company's 100 year history, Harley Davidson has become a truly awesome marque. In 1918 Harley Davidson was the biggest motorcycle factory in the world, even surviving serious economic depression in the 1929 Wall Street Crash. The 1920s saw the company begin to turn out the designs that are now not only historic icons of the motorcycle world, but that are still influential in their product today.
VRSCA V-Rod is the first Harley to combine fuel injection, overhead cams and liquid cooling. The power of the 1131cc V-twin is immediately evident upon glancing at this bike, let alone firing it up. This vigorous beast is capable of 105Nm of torque and 115 horse power, with the ESPFI Fuel Injection System doing its bit to make the power as efficient and responsive as any other. Harley have, in the V-Rod, surpassed all expectations in the smoothness department. The low centre of gravity and under-seat fuel tank ensure that the bike has unparalleled balance and handling. The power and strength of the V-Rod is palpable, and while it may not be as 'racy' looking as some of the other bikes in this competition, it certainly delivers the specs.
Chrome, lots and lots of chrome! Imagine riding into the sunset on this beautiful and glistening superbike. Or if that's not really your cup of tea, think Terminator 2!
